Voting Question: How Long does it take for a letter to send?

I recently sent a letter from my Location in Daly City CA, to San Ramon CA on June 17th around the afternoon and I'm waiting to see how long it will take. I also sent one to Brooklyn and South Carolina the next following day. All I did was fix up a letter with stamps along with a note, proper addressing, and the money orders. My only concern is when these Money Order Payments arrive and how long does a regular letter take for it to be delivered.
